Al-Alamiah Computer Systems Co. was recently awarded the excellence award by the
Norwegian company, TANDBERG, the leading specialist in video-conferencing technology
and equipment, as a result of the phenomenal growth in sales of TANDBERG video-conferencing
equipment in the region, making Al-Alamiah the company with the highest sales growth
worldwide.

The award was received by Hussam Jamal Al-Saleh, Technical Account Manager, Al-Alamiah
Computer Systems Co., at a special event organized by TANDBERG, honoring its partners
who have achieved exceptional results this year.

efforts, and the efforts of its experts, technicians and engineers to drive forward

Notably, the Norwegian company TANDBERG, and Al-Alamiah Technology Group, have been
collaborating for over two years for the supply of specialized videoconferencing
solutions which meet the practical and specific demands of various government institutions,
oil companies using this technology to link-up with oil rigs and affiliated establishments,
the banking and financial sector, educational institutes and universities, medical
organization and other establishments that have branches and businesses distributed
over several locations or countries.
Last month both companies announced reaching an agreement for supplying Iraq with
their solutions, based on their experience & success in installing these solutions
at many ministries and oil companies within the region, mainly because videoconferencing,
which uses different types of networks including Virtual Private Network (VPN),
offers a fast and effective means of communicating and ensures that meetings and
conferences are highly dynamic and interactive.
The Norwegian company, TANDBERG has been awarded best videoconferencing company
for five consecutive years. TANDBERG has also formed a strategic alliance with Al
Al-Alamiah Technology Group in the region. Al-Alamiah Technology Group started offering
videoconferencing solutions to their clients as of last year in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia,
UAE and Egypt; many projects have already been executed, some are still under execution,
for some companies and regional institutes and universities within these countries.
